Carrie Holden

Carrie Prudente Holden began her service with Boys & Girls Clubs in January 1996. During her tenure she has served both Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound and Boys & Girls Clubs of America in a variety of capacities ranging from locally here in the Puget Sound area to internationally in Asia and Europe.

Her career began with the original Tacoma Boys & Girls Clubs organization, Boys & Girls Clubs of Pierce County. In her five years of service she held positions including Program Director, Branch Director and Director of Program Services.

In February of 2001 Carrie was invited to join Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the role of Director, Education Programs. Her five years of service with BGCA saw her supporting the important role education plays in the lives of youth across America and beyond. She provided training and technical assistance to Clubs through out the continental US as well as sites in Asia and Europe.

Today Carrie holds the title of Director of Operations with Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound. Eagerly oversees the daily operations of eight Club houses and 14 outreach sites serving some 13,000 members annually. In addition she continues to serve Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the role of a National Training Associate conducting training and providing consultations as requested by the national office.
