Steve
was born and raised in Billings, MT. He moved to
Washington at the age of eighteen and joined the
Washington Army National Guard where he spent
eight years with them. He ended his path there
as a Company Motor Sergeant (E-5).
Steve
had various job opportunities before he was
offered a position with The Boys & Girls Clubs
in February 1988. In December of 1994 he left
and returned in April of 1995. While here at the
Boys & Girls Clubs, Steve earned an Associate of
Technology Degree at Bates Technical College in
the Facilities Maintenance Engineer program. In
July of 2005 he was needed to help his mother
who was in Montana, so he once again had to
leave. When he returned to Washington in
February of 2007 he was able to return to a
position here at The Boys & Girls Clubs of South
Puget Sound in the Facilities Department. In
2008 Steve was promoted to Facilities Asset
Manger for the organization where he remains
today. Steve has two children, a son and
daughter.
