GREAT FUTURES START HERE
Update 3/13/20 - 12:15pm Dear Club Families and Community Members,
Update 3/13/20 - 12:15pm
Thank you for your understanding while we navigate the changing environment with COVID-19. As you know by now, this is an unprecedented health crisis in our community and across the country. We have been working around the clock with our partners, local school districts, health care providers, health departments, government officials and other organizations to determine how we can best serve the community as a whole, as part of a systemic emergency response plan.
As school districts continue to announce their closures through April 24th, to meet Governor Inslee’s executive order, we will also be suspending our traditional Club and athletic programs. The last day of Club programs will be the last day of school in the district that Club serves. Our priority at this time is assessing what our service capability will be to the community in support of our first responders and mission critical health care providers.
We appreciate your understanding that these changes are coming very quickly for everyone, and we are working as fast as we can to provide the most up to date information to you. We know that many families have prepaid this month, and we will automatically prorate the fee you have paid and apply that credit towards the next time your child attends the program. As a reminder, please plan to pick up any medication you may have at the Club on the last day of Club program.
Please know that while we may not provide services to you and your family in our traditional form, we are working on ways to still bring Club activities and support to you, via take home kits and virtual activities. Please make sure your Club has your updated contact information so we can communicate with you as resources are available. We will keep our Facebook page as well as our website updated with the most recent information. Facebook.com/BGClubs and BGCSPS.org.
Thank you for your continued patience and partnership during this difficult time.
